Limited Warranty 
What is Covered: 
Dock D-Defender warrants to the original purchaser that the Dock D-Fender product covered by this warranty statement, if purchased and used in the United States or Canada, will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of (1) year from the date of purchase. Any failure or defect of the product must occur under normal operating conditions. Normal operating conditions is defined as “used as a temporary mooring device.”  Product is not intended to be used for long term docking or for use in high wind and wave conditions. Product is designed to help defend against dock scuffing when docking and mooring a vessel temporarily by an individual while preparing to trailer a boat or short-term docking or tie up for loading and unloading cargo or passengers.
What Dock D-Fender Will Do to Correct Problems:
Should the Dock D-Fender prove defective during the warranty period, please contact Dock D-Fender to file a warranty claim.  Original receipt of purchase will need to be presented to file this claim. If replacements are authorized, they will be shipped freight prepaid within the United States and Canada.
What this Warranty Does not Cover: 
This warranty covers normal use, in the United States and Canada. 
Normal use is defined as: Temporary mooring device, not to be used in high wind and large wave conditions. This warranty is not transferable. Warranty does not cover damage to the Dock D-Fender product by third party parts, components or peripheral devices added to the Dock D-Fender product. This warranty does not cover product failure due to misuse, abuse, improper installation, neglect, improper shipping, damage caused by disasters such as flood, fire, or lightning.  Dock D-Fender shall not be liable for any loss, inconvenience, or damage, including direct, special, incidental or consequential damages, including damages to vessel, loss of use, substitute product, downtime, claims of third parties, or injury resulting from the use or inability to use Dock D-Fender products, whether resulting from a breach of warranty or any other legal theory.
